Here’s a little history of our wonderful community….Since 1672, Seaford has continued to develop and grow as a prosperous community. For many years the river was the main highway but in the 1720’s roads began to be established in the area. Over time, innovation in agriculture developed through the efforts of William Henry Harrison Ross who became Governor of Delaware in 1850.

Incorporated in 1865, Seaford continued to develop into what it is today. By the 20th century, it had become one of the peninsula’s most important economic sites, introducing the poultry industry in 1925 and the DuPont Company’s first nylon plant in 1939.

As Seaford continues to flourish today, it is home to some amazing historic sites, shopping and the best restaurants that Delaware has to offer including Sal’s Italian Restaurant. Stop in for one of our mouthwatering dishes!

I’ve ordered out before and I am originally from Philly. I will say the best pizza I’ve tasted in this area since we moved here. That included beach areas. Cheesesteaks are Philly approved.

Had dinner last night and no disappointment. Angie the server was great. Tuned in to us and even made recommendations. Had the manicotti sampler with meatballs. Awesome. Wife had the chicken Alfredo recommended by Angie. She loved it. Heading back soon for dinner. Several other dishes I want to try. Great Stromboli. Also best in LSD I’ve had.

So we’ve been to Sal’s numerous times and honestly have never been disappointed. Pizza, Cheesesteaks, hoagies (or subs) , and Strombolis NEVER disappoint.

Tonight we ordered a LARGE amount of food and everything was delicious!

BUTTT.. the fried pickles were probably the best I’ve had in Delaware! They were just the right amount of crispy and cooked to perfection…

Can’t wait for my Sister-in-laws visit to share this gem with her!

The food was delicious, the service spectacular. My husband and I truly enjoy their food. I can’t recommend any one dish. So far, everything we’ve had has been wonderful.

I have been going to this restaurant for 30 years. The pizza has always been one of my favorites. Mondays and Wednesdays there is a $9.99 large pizza special which is great. The subs are also very good. I have never gotten any of the entrees on the menu but if they are half as good as the pizza there they will be great I am sure.

Food is Always Amazing!

I’m probably biased because I’m a semi regular, but the food is always amazing regardless of what I get, and it’s not just covered in garlic to make up for the lack of flavor like so many other Italian restaurants. The fact that Sal actually works at Sals is a major bonus too, super chill guy always says hello even if he’s running past with a pizza.

Hands down the best pizza I have ever had! Nice chewy crust with a crispy bottom and loads of perfectly melted stretchy cheese! “Slippery” style pizza. Mmmm mmmm GOOD!
